Use a product label for individual product units. It carries all the essential traceability information: product name, PBN, LOT number, expiration date, a scannable barcode, QR code, allergy icons, weight, and storage temperature. Available in 50×80mm and 105×37mm formats.
Where to Access Label Printing
You can reach the label printing interface from several places in Avstarna depending on where you are in the workflow:- Product sub-variation detail page — Navigate to a product’s sub-variation and scroll to the label section to print labels for that specific variation.
- Order detail → Bundle detail → Label page — Open an order, select a bundle, and access its label page to print bundle mix labels.
- Production workflow — Labels are available at the packaging stages of production, so operators can print directly as units come off the line.
- Inventory flow — When adding or removing stock through the inventory module, you can print labels as part of the add/remove flow to ensure items are labelled at the point of entry.
Configure and Print a Label
Open the label form
Navigate to the label section for your product, bundle, or inventory item using one of the access points above. The label form loads automatically with the product’s stored information pre-filled.
Set the expiration date
Choose the expiration date for this print run. Avstarna offers multiple expiration date options — select the one that matches the batch you’re labelling.
Enter the LOT number
Confirm or enter the LOT number for the batch. This value is printed on the label and encoded in the barcode and QR code for full traceability.
Choose a label size
Select your target label size:
- 50×80mm — compact format, suited for small product units or tight packaging.
- 105×37mm — wide format, suited for boxes and larger surfaces.
Set the quantity and customer details
Enter the number of labels to print. If this is a customer-specific run, fill in the customer details field — these appear on the label where applicable.
Use the AltForm toggle if you need an alternative label layout, such as a different field arrangement for a specific customer or retailer requirement.
